As your experience in Aikido grows, Aikido practice can keep you fit and flexible. But different from sports and fitness activities, Aikido also focuses on self-discipline which extends beyond the tatami.

Our Instructors

Çağdaş moved to Cambridge in 2018, and founded Cambs Eurasia Aikido in 2022. He holds the rank of 6. Dan in Aikido since 2023, and aims to advance in the technical approach of Nobuyoshi Tamura and Nebi Vural Senseis as well as to introduce this school of Aikido to a broader audience in the UK.

Çağdaş Bilen - Head Instructor, 6. Dan

Çağdaş moved to Cambridge in 2018, and founded Cambs Eurasia Aikido in 2022. He holds the rank of 6. Dan in Aikido since 2023, and aims to advance in the technical approach of Nobuyoshi Tamura and Nebi Vural Senseis as well as to introduce this school of Aikido to a broader audience in the UK.
Daniel has joined Cambs Eurasia Aikido in 2023 and has quickly become a core member and one of the instructors due to his strong background. He has followed teachings of Nobuyoshi Tamura Sensei in various dojos in Venezuela and Spain, and he has also bacground in Iaido. Daniel holds he rank of 4. Dan since 2024.

Daniel has joined Cambs Eurasia Aikido in 2023 and has quickly become a core member and one of the instructors due to his strong background. If you are interested in trying Aikido, you can fill out our starter form and head over to the next available class above with comfortable sports clothing (shorts not recommended). You can try 1-3 classes free of charge, before deciding to subscribe for a monthly fee:

  • Standard membership (adults, waged): 40 £
  • Student membership (adults, unwaged): 30 £

Visitor practitioners and people interested in watching the classes are always welcome to drop in free of charge.
